In January 2008 I asked a friend of mine named Abbey Godwin if she wanted to listen to a few of the new songs I was working on and respond. This is the painting that resulted. I hadn't seen Abbey for several years--she lives in eastern OR--but I've always loved Abbey's work, and we had a great time corresponding. She drove the painting out to Portland and I'm pleased to say that it hangs in my living room, above my fireplace.

Abbey lives in eastern Oregon, paints, and teaches art. I highly recommend checking out her other work.
